Trap - Illuminati Instrumental (808 Mafia, Dark, Hip Hop, Melodic, Trap Beat)
Dark melodic trap type beat with a dirty, nocturnal edge: fast trap drums, wide 808s and a pitched vocal hook for melodic rap verses.
About this Trap Type Beat
Illuminati is a dark melodic trap type beat built around a pitched vocal hook and a bell-like melody, with fast trap drums pushing it at a running pace. The mood is dirty and nocturnal: the 808s sit low and long, the hats stay busy and the melody keeps circling back to the same phrase, which is what makes it feel hypnotic instead of crowded. Anyone digging for a melodic trap type beat with an edge will recognise the recipe, only here the drums land harder and the low end carries more weight.
Metro Boomin type beat, Future type beat: the lane it plays in
Go through a Metro Boomin type beat or a Future type beat and you are already in this territory: dark melodic loops, wide 808s, a sparse arrangement and a hook that sounds like a voice rather than an instrument. The same goes for a dark melodic rap beat or a straight dark trap type beat, where the melody does the talking and the drums leave room for a flow. It also holds up next to a Juice Wrld type beat, because the top line is melodic enough to carry a sung verse without losing the weight of a trap record.
Where it fits in a track
This one suits an opening verse or a switch up in the middle of a song: it is fast enough for double time pockets, dark enough for a street record and melodic enough for a sung hook. Rappers working on a hard trap type beat with a melodic streak, on a late night dark trap instrumental or on a hook driven single will get the most out of it, and producers looking for a fast trap beat with 808s and a vocal texture will find the same ingredients here.
Illuminati lives in the darker corner of the catalogue, next to the hard trap instrumentals, the 808 driven hip hop cuts and the slower melodic records. The rest of the beats run from club to boombap and R&B, all available to lease or to buy exclusively with instant delivery.
