Melodic Trap Type Beat - Flute Hip Hop Instrumental

Melodic Trap - Yummy Instrumental (Hip Hop, Melodic, Smooth, Trap Beat)

Melodic trap type beat with a bright flute lead and two layers of clean 808: a bouncy hip hop instrumental for flirty, upbeat verses.

About this Melodic Trap Type Beat

Yummy is a melodic trap type beat that keeps the top line in front of everything else. The lead is a flute patch doubled with a second melody line, so the hook has width without a vocal stack, and under it two 808s share the low end: one long and clean for the root, one shorter for the bounce between them. The drums are a full trap kit, kick and snare with an extra snare layer, claps, rim, closed and open hats, with risers and a texture bed in the transitions. The mood is flirty and a little eccentric, bright rather than dark, and relaxed enough for a sung verse to sit on top.

Lil Tecca type beat, Lil Uzi Vert type beat: the lane it walks

Anyone digging through a lil tecca type beat or a lil uzi vert type beat will recognise the toolkit here: a flute melody used as the main hook, 808s that answer the melody instead of just following the kick, and a bounce that leaves room for a melodic delivery. It sits close to a playboi carti type beat when the hats open up, and to the flute side of an nle choppa type beat when the low end takes the bar. That is why this works as a flute type beat first and a trap beat second: the melody carries the record, the drums only push it. If you were looking for a melodic trap type beat that stays sunny instead of sad, this one never goes dark.

Where it fits in a track

This one is built for hooks and for the first verse after them. The flute line is memorable enough to open a song on its own, and the way the 808 pattern shifts under it gives a rapper a natural place to switch flow at the eight bar mark. It also holds up as a bouncy trap type beat across a full three verse structure, because nothing in the arrangement repeats until it wears out. Singers after a chill trap type beat with a real melody, and writers after a hip hop type beat that does not sound like a loop library, both get the same thing: a clean instrumental with space left at the top for a voice.

If this one is not the mood, the catalogue runs from dark and hard trap to smooth melodic beats, bouncy records and straight hip hop instrumentals, all available to lease or to buy exclusively with the untagged files delivered as soon as the order clears.
