About this Smokepurpp Type Beat
There's no doubt that Smokepurpp is one of the most prolifics rappers of those latest years. I don't like the term but he's labeled by so much people and a big audience as a ''SoundCloud Rapper''. Somehow it seems that he likes the SoundCloud Rapper term since he claims that he birthed the SoundCloud Rappers generation, which in some way is partially true since (you may agree or not) he birthed that ''generation''. That's questionable, but it all started there, or at least Smokepurpp was involved in getting that SoundCloud Rap thing go big. But leaving that aside I feel and really like some Omar Pineiro songs, which really sound major and that are the reason of why he's there. Audi (which was released exclusively on World Star HipHop) is a clever example of doing the things in a right way.
Omar Pineiro (which is his real life name, maybe from that Pineiro surname comes that punchy ''Purpp'' of his stage name) was born in Chicago in the late 90s and quickly moved to Florida. Unlike many others that started as rappers and then switched to the beat game, the boy Smokepurpp started as a producer and switched to the rap game since the beat business wasn't going well enough for him. We all know that, making profit off beats is a long term thing, not a quick money generator as many people believe. Omar Pineiro first song was uploaded to SoundCloud in early 2015 but he quickly deleted it since the audio quality was really poor. After that song Smokepurpp released another song featuring the recently shot dead rapper XXXTentacion. Rest in peace X.
