Free Sad Instrumentals Type Beats (Free Download)
Sad Beats
Sad beats, I know it’s a mood instead of a genre as is, but there are a lot of artists that are used to use just sad beats. Like for example Lil Peep, XXXTentacion, 6LACK, Lil Xan, Trippie Redd, etc… So if you like the type of sad beats that are often used by the artists mentioned before then I’m sure you’ll like the following beats.
On a sad type beat the interesting part is not the loop, it is the second the voice falls apart. That is why the sad rap beat instrumental versions stay simple: a piano line, a bass moving slowly, drums that give the singer somewhere honest to land. The sad type beat piano cuts are the barest of the group, the sad trap beat ones add weight underneath, and a sad emotional type beat sits between the two for a verse that turns into a hook before anybody notices.
Sad rap beats for Lil Peep, Lil Xan and Trippie Redd styles
Listeners in this corner recognise the delivery before the melody. Lil Peep type beats sit best over the guitar loop and a half sung verse, doubled an octave down so it sounds like one tired person in the booth. Lil Xan type beats and Trippie Redd type beats carry the same writing at a different volume, one flat and one wailing, and a free sad rap beat is enough for a demo take of either. Keep the ad libs quiet: on these records the smallest sound in the mix is usually the one that hurts.
